Inclusive Pedals CIC is a social enterprise dedicated to creating opportunities for anyone to experience cycling. We were formed in 2017 with three local directors.
At present we have two core operations:
1, using our adapted trikes and quads in Chesterfield's Queen's Park.
2, providing a monthly Dr Bike workshop in the Queen's Park.
Funding for the project came via Derbyshire Sport and Chesterfield School Sport Partnership and an agreement with Chesterfield Borough Council allows us to use the old cycle race track around the cricket pitch.
Experienced leaders from local cycle training company Wheely Fun Wheels run our sessions together with a team of volunteers.
If you have an event needing trikes and quads suitable for those with disabilities we may be able to attend. Do contact us.
Dr Bike workshop
We have also facilitated a monthly Dr Bike workshop at our storage container in the Queen's Park working with Chesterfield Cycle Campaign, Brampton Cyclery, Velotastic & Wheely Fun Wheels.
In 2018 we are starting a new operation called 'Cycling Without Age'.
Find out how you can help on the Cycling Without Age page.
