School based training

We deliver Bikeability training at around 70 schools in Chesterfield, NE Derbyshire and Bolsover.

Schools that are affiliated to their School Sport Partnerships can access most of the various training programmes free of charge funded by central government. We currently deliver training for SHAPE Learning Partnership in Chesterfield & NE Derbyshire and Bolsover School Sport Partnership in the Bolsover area.

For schools covered by SHAPE Learning Partnership (Chesterfield & NE Derbyshire areas) but not affiliated, SHAPE offers a partly funded package that we deliver too, details and costs here.

               Our current programmes offered are:

Balance bike training for 'reception' children

Learn to ride training for year 3 or 4 children

Bikeability Level 1 training for year 3 or 4 children

Bikeability Fix training for year 5 or 6 children

Bikeability Level 2 training for year 5 or 6 children

Bikeability Level 3 training for year 6 and above

(note that each SSP has different funding and may not offer the full programme, schools can use their 'sports premium' to fund directly)

Bolsover SSP schools can access elements of training that are not funded by Bikeability here.

If your school already receives training delivered by us we will contact you at the appropriate time each year to continue delivering training.

We welcome enquiries from school not yet receiving training from us!

If you are a school not in the Bolsover SSP or SHAPE areas, or a community group please see what we offer and the cost here.
