The workshop is open on the first Saturday of the month, March to October inclusive, 9.30am until 1.00pm.
We are committed to getting as many people as possible to experience cycling and we have partnered with several local businesses to bring a monthly Dr Bike workshop to our storage container in the Queen's Park north car park.
Trained mechanics can check, adjust and repair your bike while you wait. We have a range of cables and brake parts plus other common spares. There is no charge for labour, just for any spares used. We are pleased to accept monetary donations of course!
There are local cycle maps and other information available from Chesterfield Cycle Campaign too.
Mechanics from Wheely Fun Wheels, Brampton Cyclery, Chesterfield Cycle Campaign and Velotastic work with us at the workshops.
We accept donations of bikes too but we have limited storage and time to refurbish. Check the Dr Bike Facebook page for any bikes available, they are either free or a charge just to cover any parts we have used. Any bikes we can't refurbish we donate to Monkey Park bike workshop on Chester St.
We are always on the look out for funding to enable the workshops to continue, could you or your business sponsor a workshop? Donate here.
Our range of trikes and quads are usually available for you to look at and maybe try a short ride if you are considering booking a session with us.
