We host the workshop in Chesterfield on the first Saturday of the month, March to October inclusive, 9.30am until 1.00pm.
With our partners Chesterfield Cycle Campaign, Wheely Fun Wheels & Brampton Cyclery we facilitate a monthly Dr Bike workshop to our storage containers in the Queen's Park car park, off Boythorpe Road S40 2NF or What3Words 'saints.epic.tells' - adjacent to the Hipper Valley Trail.
Trained mechanics can check, adjust and repair your bike while you wait. We have a range of cables and brake parts plus other common spares. With funding from Cycling UK our repairs are free! We are pleased to accept monetary donations of course!
There are local cycle maps and other information available from Chesterfield Cycle Campaign too.

Community Bike Workshop at The Hub Clay Cross
Following a successful bid to 'Awards for All' by The Hub in Clay Cross we have opened a community bicycle workshop there.
The Hub at Gladstone Buildings, Broadleys, Clay Cross S45 9JN.
We're also hoping to upskill the community and refurbish bikes, you are more than welcome to repair your own bike using the tools and spares we have available - trained mechanics always on hand! Spares include cables, brake blocks, chains, grips and inner tubes etc which you can purchase for low prices or bring your own to fit.
There is no charge to use the workshop other than for new spares used.
Workshop opening hours 2.30pm - 6.30pm, dates to be confirmed in 2021.
Look out for balance bike sessions for 3 & 4 year olds and adult cycle training. 8 hours of adult cycle training is free to all Derbyshire residents!
We accept donations of bikes too but we have limited storage and time to refurbish. Check the page for any bikes available, they are either free or a charge just to cover any parts we have used. Any bikes we can't refurbish we give to Monkey Park bike workshop on Chester St in Chesterfield.
We like to support the charity 'Cycle of Good' who recycle inner tubes and coffee sacks into everyday bags and other items.
They sell organic fairtrade coffee grown in Malawi too.
We have one of their recycled post office bikes which were built by Pashley in the UK.
Now called 'Elephant Bike' they are a rugged workhorse of a bike and for every one bought in the UK another is sent to Africa to provide sustainable transport.
If you have any old inner tubes please bring them to the monthly Dr Bike workshops and we'll send them to Cycle of Good.
Their full range of goods can be found on their website;
