We run the Dr Bike workshops in the Queen's Park north car park on the first Saturday of the month.
March to October 9.30am until 1.00pm
November to February 10.30am until 12.30pm
(Car park off Boythorpe Road, car entrance opposite Travis Perkins. Look for the gazebo at the storage containers near the miniature railway crossing)
We are adjacent to the East West cycle route/Hipper Valley Trail for bicycle access and there is ample car parking.
We are often busy and there maybe a queue!
We have local cycle maps available and other info while you wait.
With funding we receive all repairs are free (labour and parts). Monetary donations gratefully accepted though which we use to support the adapted cycling sessions in Queen's Park!
We have stocks of brake blocks, brake cables, gear cables, chains, grips, pedals, inner tubes etc. Plus a variety of other donated or used spares.
Our mechanics can adjust gears, true wheels and give advice as well as fitting parts listed above.

Wondering what we do at Dr Bike?
Check our FAQS page
Please note we do not bleed hydraulic brakes at Dr Bike nor do we have stocks of disc brake pads, however we can fit them if you bring them with you.
We don't usually tackle replacing bottom brackets, wheel bearings or headset bearings but we will adjust them if possible.
We can usually replace rear cassettes (gears) and gear hangers if you have a new one to fit.
We often see bikes with bent gear hangers which we can try and straighten but there is a risk they will break so we will always discuss with you first!
